Do you want comfort food that is easy to make and comes together in no time? The Wisconsin BBQ, otherwise known as the Sloppy Joe, is easy to make and will satisfy. You definitely won’t disappoint anyone by making this recipe, and it could easily become a favorite.
Let’s Make it
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 tsp worcestershire
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/2 c catsup
DIRECTIONS:
- Brown the beef in a crock, toss in the chopped onions and celery, and cook until transparent. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for at least half an hour.
- Serve on any type of bun. I think that serving it on a Ciabatta roll or a sesame hamburger bun is probably the best choice here, but use what you’ve got; that’s what it’s all about.
